Dawn Flowers Obituary

Winsted: Dawn Corrine Flowers, 65, died suddenly on Sunday, September 24, 2023. She was the wife of Joseph Flowers who survives. She was born in Meriden, CT, October 11, 1957, to the late Norman Smith Dasse and the late Virginia Jayne (Gonyea) Desse, she had been in Winsted, for the past three years. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as secretary for 10 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother, Bruce Dasse of Guilford, CT and a sister in law, Jill (James) Hayes of Syracuse, NY. She was a cat lover, particularly "Marshmellow" who she adored, shopping for antiques for her collection of the wizard of OZ and buying potted flowers and plants for Joe to plant around their home. There are no services scheduled at this time. Maloney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of CT. or your local animal shelter.
